Creating a Trauma Informed Approach in the Workplace eLearning Course

Made with Articulate Storyline 360

Problem Addressed:

Today's American adults are reporting higher levels of stress and trauma than ever before, and this stress affects workplace productivity, employee morale, and worker retention. Trauma Informed Approach (TIA) is an important approach that individuals and organizations can use to mitigate the impacts of stress and trauma and help survivors of trauma work toward recovery.

I developed this eLearning course to address the elevated levels of stress and trauma that workers are facing and to give managers and supervisors tools and examples of ways that they can mitigate stress and best support their employees.

The eLearning course I developed not only provides knowledge of TIA and how it can be employed in the workplace, but also provides the learner with opportunities for self reflection so that they can customize their own learning to their unique situation. At the end of the course, the learner is given a customized PDF that they can save and take with them of their own notes and personalized examples.
